Each holiday season, Jim Himes' Office shares a list of the organizations around our community that are able to accept donations of food or other items, if you have enough to share, and distribute to those in need.
If you are planning on making a donation, please make sure you call ahead to be certain the donation center is open. Many of these organizations are staffed by volunteers and hours can shift, so calling will ensure you don't waste a trip.
